Fountain of Nations Closed off and Drained at Epcot. More Walls Go Up!
From the Walt Disney World News and written by: Michele
Yesterday we reported that the Epcot revamp was underway with the closing of Club Cool and Starbucks. Most of what’s closing is being relocated but not everything…. The Fountain of Nations is a fan favorite for those walking through Epcot. People stop, take photos, and just enjoy it when the music plays in sync with the sprays of water. We are hearing today that walls have gone up around the fountain and it’s been drained.
Also, walls have gone up behind Mouse Gear and to the side of the building.
Construction is also going on by the International Gateway at the back of the park past the UK Pavilion. The Character Spot location will also be affected by the construction overhaul.
I know for a lot of you, myself included, seeing these changes is a bit tough. We love certain things at Disney and miss them when they’re gone. However, the additions coming to Epcot are truly magical and once construction is complete it’s going to be exciting to see. Stay tuned for more updates as we see them!
Thank you Vanessa for the photos!
