The interstellar family comedy “Gabby Duran & The Unsittables” launches tonight on the Disney Channel and DisneyNOW app from 9-9:30 p.m. EDT/PDT.
We recently caught up with the series stars, including actress and musician Kylie Cantrall. Kylie plays Gabby Duran, a courageous 13-year-old girl who inadvertently lands a job babysitting an unruly group of VIP extraterrestrial children who are hiding out on Earth disguised as everyday kids. Not disguised, but donning colorful Minnie Mouse ears for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, Kylie shared that she was excited to celebrate the debut of the show with her co-stars at the Happiest Place on Earth – she couldn’t stop smiling when she met Chewbacca in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and she was excited to check out her favorite ride, the Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure park. Let’s just say she has a natural inclination for the supernatural!
Starring alongside Cantrall is Maxwell Acee Donovan (“Good Kids”) as Gabby’s bestie and conspiracy theorist, Wesley; Coco Christo (“We Take the Low Road”) as Gabby’s overachieving little sis, Olivia; Nathan Lovejoy (“The Code”) as the wacky Principal Swift; Valery Ortiz (“Switched at Birth”) as Gabby’s caring and career-driven mom, Dina; and Callan Farris (“Kings”) as Jeremy, a shape-shifting alien and Gabby’s first babysitting assignment.
