Confirmed- Happily Ever After at MK is Retiring in September

From the Walt Disney World News and written by: Michele

Earlier today, Walt Disney World put out information about new entertainment coming back to the parks, with a paragraph at the bottom that caused some confusion. The verbiage was as follows-

“We also recently announced that all-new nighttime spectaculars “Disney Enchantment” and “Harmonious” would be debuting October 1 as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration. That means this summer is also your last chance to come out and catch the current fireworks shows before they sparkle into Disney history. “EPCOT Forever” will conclude its limited-time run on September 28, and you have until September 29 to take in the spectacle of “Happily Ever After” at Magic Kingdom Park.’

Readers were uncertain whether or not Epcot Forever AND Happily Ever After were both were retiring, so I reached out to Disney directly. My media contact DID confirm that Happily Ever After at Magic is also retiring. As stated above, the last showing of this amazing fireworks show will be on September 29th. Originally it was thought that Happily Ever After was supposed to go on hiatus during the 50th Anniversary celebration, but we did confirm otherwise.

I know I’m going to miss Happily Ever After, I truly love it. What about you? Let’s chat about it in the comments! I’m sure what Disney has planned up next will be just as magical. -M
